David Collier, Director of DGA Offshore Safety Services Limited commented:
“Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’ – and this course offers exactly that. Utilising our experience from working on projects such as Robin Rigg, London Array and Sheringham Shoal, we at DGA have developed a health and safety passport training course we believe is unrivalled in the renewables / wind energy sector.
At DGA Safety we have developed a course using the latest isometric software to provide a course with the specific aim to improve both competence and ultimately safely standards in the ever expanding renewable energy sector.”
The one day basic safety awareness training provides a minimum standard of understanding the hazards and risks that are present in a typical renewable energy offshore or onshore project. The course makes reference to Renewable UK’s ‘Wind Turbine Safety Rules’ guidance document and includes an examination which will ensure attendees gain the necessary knowledge to recognise wind farm hazards, take appropriate action to remain safe and know when and how to seek assistance if it is needed.

“I was extremely pleased with the ease in which I was able to book the exam and the information provided as to where the exam was scheduled to be held at. On the day of the examination the venue was easy to find and well organised. The best part was when Kathryn telephoned me personally to advise me that I had passed as soon as she received the results rather than me having to await the postman. I would definitely use DGA Safety again as my next course provider and recommend them to others.”
