DGA Safety attend DONG Energy Event in Association with NOF Energy and Energi Coast

DGA were in attendance at the recent offshore renewables focused networking lunch with DONG Energy. This supply chain focused event, held at Hardwick Hall in Sedgefield, included a presentation from DONG Energy, an opportunity to showcase our business and the chance to network in the exhibition area.
DONG Energy is one of the leading energy groups in Northern Europe and headquartered in Denmark. Around 6,500 employees are engaged in exploring for and producing oil and natural gas, producing electricity and heat from offshore wind farms and power stations, and supplying energy to residential and business customers every single day.
By 2020, DONG Energy aims at quadrupling their installed capacity compared to 2012. The project pipeline consists of no less than 4 UK projects, namely; the 258 MW Burbo Bank extension, the 573 MW Race Bank¸ the 660 MW Walney Extension, and lastly the massive 1200 MW Hornsea. Hornsea will also be the first round 3 project ever to be build.
The company also recently announced early stage plans to explore the potential for creating an offshore wind hub in Humberside at North Killingholme.
